TEACHERS

All teachers have a sound understanding of the Montessori philosophy and materials. They are experienced teaching in an English-speaking environment, able to deal with issues such as separation anxiety, lack of confidence, and dealing with a family relocation. They are always available after school hours for a quick chat on the progress of each child.

 

A Montessori teacher and a classroom assistant staff each classroom. The teachers receive training from an approved Montessori training centre. Classroom assistants are selected on the basis of their understanding of the principles of child development and their ability to observe the child. The remainder of the staff include part-time specialist instructors, assistants and administrative staff.
